About Me

My name is Deborah Gurney MBACP, I am a qualified Counsellor whose practice is guided through membership to the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) I am also working towards accreditation with the UK Council of Psychotherapy, (UKCP) .
I am a CCC registered counsellor

I work with adults and adolescents in a humanistic way, which facilitates clarity of thought and empowerment of the decision making process. 

I have regular supervision both one-to-one and group, which keeps my practice up to date, and fresh with new developments within the psychological world of research and practice. This also guides my practice through self reflection and exploration. 

I have many years experience of working with people to help them find solutions to problems they face in their lives. This includes mediation, advocacy, as well as one-to-one counselling. My training and experience include:
