The question that I receive most in my practice is how can I change my life now? How can I overcome and move past through my sorrows and worries? How can break free from the grips of anxiety and experience happiness and joy in my life again? My answer to these questions is that I have worked with hundreds of clients and helped them find the answers to these questions and find their own personal personal purpose in life.
I am highly experienced and trained using an integrative approach which has CBT at its core but weaves other approaches to create uniquely tailored sessions which achieve results much faster than many traditional approaches.
I have trained extensively to work with both adults and children using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) , Neurolinguistic Psychotherapy (NLP) and Art / Play Therapy using an integrative approach to help clients of all ages make sense of their world and create a brighter future. My treatment plan is evidenced based and proven effective in the treatment of:
- Anxiety and General Anxiety Disorder / Panic Attacks
- Relationship Issues / Family Issues / Work Place Stress
- Depression and Low Confidence / Motivation / Low self esteem
- Child Related Issues
- Anger Management and Emotional Regulation
I very much see that when we start to work together it is like starting a journey , where you will have the time and space to explore your inner self and gain new insight and perspective on whatever the challenge. It may well be that you are struggling to make sense or identify the cause of your pain and just need someone to help you step outside the chaos and noise and see what is occurring.
I am skilled in both short and long term therapeutic approaches and work with you at a pace that is comfortable for you , looking beyond any labels to work with the person in front of me in the counselling room. The sessions are individually designed around you and take place in a relaxed , fun and engaging environment.
I take confidentiality very seriously and abide by both the National Counselling Society and the BACP code of ethics.

Evidenced Based- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is the therapeutic treatment of choice within the NHS. It is evidenced based and proven to bring about fast and lasting change.
Individualised Treatment Plan - research has proven that results are more effective and lasting when treatment has been designed to fit the individual.
Here and Now - sessions are focused primarily on the ‘here and now’ and will provide you with the belief that you already have the tools within you to solve whatever the problem
Expectations that are realistic and a set of goals that we will work together to formulate and reach. I will use my expertise to work with you to set these goals into shorter and longer-term timeframes
Session Themes - I don’t want you to worry about remember key CBT theory in the sessions, that is my responsibility. You will receive detailed theory handouts via email after our session.
You will be working with someone that never treats any two clients the same and has many years life experience to call upon. I put clients experience of the sessions at the heart of everything I do.
