Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Young People

How I work

Over the years, I have developed a unique approach, which takes the core of what CBT provides and adapts and integrates it in a way that young people can understand. CBT helps young people to know how intense feelings and thoughts/thinking are triggered and provides them with the tools to help break down unhelpful negative core beliefs about themselves and their world.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, or CBT, is a family of talking therapies, all based on the idea that thoughts, feelings, what we do, and how our bodies feel are all connected. If we change one of these, we can alter all the others. I help people see the interconnectedness of the mind and body.

It can provide lasting change and strategies that can be used in everyday life long after the sessions.
